continue to burn, giving peace of mind. SmartFlame offers a thick quality flame just like regular ethanol gel fuel. One can lasts 2.5 to 3 hours, and produces approx. 3000 BTUs per can, just like regular gel fuel. There is no odor and it is easily extinguished by placing the lid or a snuffer over the opening. SmartFlame fuel crackles just like a real log fire, and emits 3000 BTUs of heat which lasts up to 3 hours. This fuel is designed to be used indoors or outdoors. There is no pouring involved; place the can into a fuel appliance. Light the SmartFlame fuel with a fireplace lighter or long match. When you are done, extinguish the flame easily by cutting the flame’s oxygen supply with the lid or snuffer (not included).
